The Greetery Let’s Make Memories Holiday Collection Release Day 3

Hello, hi! I’m back for Day 3 of the Holiday Collection reveal with The Greetery and the Inspiration Team! I have loved all of the products showcased so far and if it’s possible, I love today’s projects even more! Please be sure to check out the post at The Greetery Blog today where you can see all the individual components of today’s reveal. You can also visit the blog of each of the other design team members to see the beautiful projects they’ve created!

For today’s cards I used the With Love at Christmas stamps and dies, and the Sentiment Suite: Christmas stamp set, along with the Flappable Stencils and envelopes.

I began by stamping the floral arrangement layers using a variety of ink colors from Altenew, beginning with a very traditional color combination, and then exploring some non-traditional color schemes. I wanted to demonstrate that a stamp set like this does not need to be restricted to seasonal card projects.

I used the color families from Green Fields and Tea Party for the card above, and complimented the ink colors with patterned papers from my stash, which I cut into strips and adhered to the card panel edge.

I die cut the completed stamped image and adhered it to the card base over the patterned paper strips and leaving room to stamp the “warm wishes” sentiment from the With Love at Christmas stamp set. (There are also a selection of smaller coordinating stamp images and dies in the With Love at Christmas stamp set). I stamped the label (also in this set) and added more of the sentiment to that, then punched a hole in both the label tag and the flower itself, and tied them together with gold cord. I stenciled onto an envelope flap with the coordinating Flappable Stencil and I love how well they go together!

Next up, I have a pair of cards made with the same layered stamp set but with some less traditional color choices.

For the first card, I used the Altenew ink color families of Coffee Break, Red Sunset and Warm and Cozy and paired the stamped and die cut piece with some complimentary colored patterned papers. The sentiment comes from the Sentiment Suite: Christmas stamp set.

I love a layered stamp set like this that doesn’t require absolutely perfect placement but still looks completely wonderful even if stamped slightly askew here or there.

I really love the color scheme for the floral arrangement on this last card! The leaves and berries are once again, stamped in shades of Coffee Break with the addition of Summer Afternoon inks for the flowers.

To assemble this card, I popped up the flower arrangement die cut with fun foam, and tucked a twist of knotted brown thread underneath. I paired the stamped image with cork-looking paper and an unexpected bit of contrasting green paper. The “sending love” sentiment on this card is from the With Love at Christmas set, but is perfect for a non-seasonal card.

If you remember, I mentioned that you’d be seeing some previously posted cards again today, for today’s reveal of the Flappable Stencils! I simply ink blended with the same inks that I used for the tree stamps.

For the Caravan card above and the snowflake corners card below, I used the snowflakes Flappable Stencil to ink blend with the same blue ink that I used for the snowflakes on the background of the card. This stencil also coordinates with the other two stencil sets as well as with the Frosty Corners dies.
