Hi, hello! Spellbinders has a fresh set of releases on the first of each month for all their Club subscriptions and I have a card to showcase the Clear Stamp of the Month set! It coordinates with the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit for some very beautiful options!
I chose to repeat stamp the curved line of candles to cover an entire A2 sized card panel and then to color them with Copic markers in rainbow order.
The task of stamping the rows in (almost) perfect distances is made easier with a stamp positioner like a MISTI. I placed my cardstock in the bottom right corner and the stamp approximately at the middle point up the door, then used the marks on the measuring tape to adjust the paper up and down by the same distance each time.
I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest cardstock for best alcohol ink blending.
I die cut a bold “happy birthday” greeting twice from heavy black cardstock and stacked the layers to create a greeting with extra impact.
Then I die cut a stitched circle from coordinating green patterned paper in my stash to back the die cut sentiment and adhered it off-the-edge of the stamped and colored panel.
This stamp set has more to offer even than the birthday theme! I’m looking forward to using that cute spring flowers vine next!
