Hello, hi! I’m back today to share a birthday card that I made using a couple of new stamp sets just released at Technique Tuesday! I loved these sets so much I couldn’t get stopped so check back soon for more samples of these stamp and die sets!

Today’s card uses the Let’s Party stamp set with the matching dies, for the cupcakes, present and party hat. I used the Happy Everything die set for the die cut sentiment.

I stamped on Neenah Solar White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink because I new I would be using alcohol markers to color the images. I used a combination of Copic, Spectrum Noir and Altenew Artist Markers to color each image.

I die cut the “happy” from blue and green cardstock, and the “birthday” from black cardstock. I positioned all the die cut pieces approximately where I thought they would fit before adhering them to the card base. Then I drew a pencil line around the design using a straight edge. But I preferred a more “imperfect” look, so I went over the pencil line free hand to get the wobbles and shakes. Finally, I added a few black enamel dots to complete the card.
