Hey, hi! I’m back today with more Technique Tuesday Birthday card fun! This time I’m sharing cards that showcase two of the newest Technique Tuesday releases, Let’s Party and Large Birthday.
I shared the card in the middle with you yesterday, so today I want to share the two happy, cheerful cards on the right and left!
On the first card, the images are all stamps from the Let’s Party stamp set, and the sentiment comes from the Large Birthday stamp set. I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored with an assortment of Copic, Spectrum Noir and Altenew Artist Markers.
I die cut each of the elements after they were colored using the coordinating dies for the Let’s Party set, and layered them on a white cardstock card panel. I stamped the sentiment on the card panel as well, then positioned the balloons overtop the sentiment and stamped the sentiment again on just the balloons and adhered them to perfectly line up.
Finally, I trimmed down the card panel by 1/8th inch on each side and layered it over a rainbow striped patterned paper mat, then adhered everything to a card base. A few coordinating enamel dots complete the card.
Next up is a card that was fun to color!! And good practice for ombre coloring.
I stamped the sentiment “Happy Birthday” from the Large Birthday stamp set, and colored it with the same color combinations as previously used, and added a stamped, colored and die cut present from the Let’s Party stamp set to the bottom.
I added a few black enamel dots, and cropped and matted the card panel on a piece of green patterned paper and let it be clean and simple!
