I’m posting near the end of the month for you to see the Spellbinder’s Clear Stamp of the Month subscription set for March, but there are a few days left this month for you to subscribe and get this set. It’s great value at $10 and every month you get a new set in your mailbox, like clockwork! But don’t take my word for it – go check out the other cards made with this stamp set!
For this card, I stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto Ranger watercolor cardstock. I positioned the floral arch stamp across the top and one small floral bunch along the side – stamped the A2 sized card panel once that way and turned it around to stamp the bottom of the floral circle to create a “wreath”.
I stamped one of the three bunnies in the stamp set in the center of the floral circle and one of the sentiments below. I used my Mijello Mission Gold watercolor paints to paint the flowers and added green paint to suggest more leaves and greenery.
Next, I painted the sweet little bunny, adding just a hint of color overall, and deepening the brown shades for the shadowed areas. I added a blue sky background behind him(?), her(?) and a grassy lawn beneath.
I trimmed the watercolor panel down to allow approximately 1″ of green gingham patterned paper to show on the bottom, and wrapped some thin jute thread around twice and tied with a bow. Super simple and very cheerful and spring-y!
