I’m featuring the Friendly Snowmen stamp set from the Be Merry Collection at Spellbinders and as you can see, it’s pretty cute set! Some of you, I know, are as dismayed by seeing Holiday Season cards in August as by seeing Halloween candy for sale right after the 4th of July, and others of you are chomping at the bit to get started on all the things to organize and check off the December lists!

For my cards today, I stamped the snowman images onto Neenah 80lb cardstock. (I really do prefer the 110lb cardstock until I have to fussy cut, and then I think, hmmm, maybe I shoulda stamped and colored on 80lb.) I used Copic markers to color, keeping with a general color scheme of blue, green and red.

For this card, I used the three individual snowmen in the stamp set, and lined them up on the snow hills of a Hello Bluebird slimline mountain scene die, perching the smallest on the furthest hill for the perspective of distance.

I used one of the sentiments in the Friendly Snowmen stamp set, and added pale blue snowflake stamps to the background.

My second card uses the little paired snowmen image, again stamped on Neenah 80lb cardstock and Copic colored.

This time I used the Tall Trees Slimline die from Hello Bluebird, ink-blending color onto the die cut sections, and stamping another of the sentiments from the Friendly Snowmen set.

I added some quirky holly and berries (from the Holiday Gnomes stamp set – part of the Be Merry Collection) in the tops of the trees to balance the snowmen at the bottom.

That’s it for me and the last stop on the hop today. Thanks for hopping to the end. Before you go, please check out the giveaway details.
