Altenew Dotted Swirls Stitched Card

Hey, hi! I have a post up on the Altenew Card Blog today and wanted to link it here as well for you to check out! Today’s card is one that checks a few Zen-like, soothing, therapeutic activity boxes for me, with a very simple design, a favorite color scheme and STITCHING!! I’m always here for the needle and thread crafts and today I managed to combine it with a greeting card!

I used the Dotted Swirls Debossing Die to make the pattern on Neenah cardstock, then I stitched the whole panel with the variegated thread pictured above. I die cut one layer of the Waterbrush Hello Die and several more layers of white cardstock to stack behind. The secondary sentiment is from the Hello & Hugs stamp set and the enamel dots are from the Our Family enamel dots pack.

If you want to know more about my processes, please feel free to click over to this post at the Altenew Blog! If you’re interested in any of the supplies I’ve used, check the links below. I’ve added some other Debossing Cover Dies by Altenew similar to the one I used on this card.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the mental-health benefits (or stresses?), of hand-stitching on paper! Is it for you? Yay or nay?
