Did you see the Jane’s Doodles release blog hop a couple days back? There are some GREAT stamp sets in that release, but today I’m just sharing a card in the regular blog rotation at the Jane’s Doodles blog.
I used the flowers and leaves from the Smile stamp set, along with a sentiment from the Doodle Flowers set. I began by stamping an all-over design with watercolor-friendly Versafine Onyx black ink on watercolor paper, then painting in the shapes and the background. I cut the card panel with a stitched outline die from Lawn Fawn, then I used the HELLO die from MFTStamps to die cut the letters and pop them up with some black fun foam. I stamped the sentiment on vellum and heat embossed before adhering the strip overtop of the raised letters.
A few black enamel dots, and bing, bang, boom, this card is simple and done! I like when it’s that easy!
