Hey folks!
Jane’s Doodles is hopping today! We’ve got a new release with FIVE brand new stamps to share and I got some cards made from each of the new sets! If you’ve arrived here from Galina’s blog, you’re in the right place. See below for the complete list of hoppers.

First up, we have the Free as a Bird set. It’s got 4 different silly birds and I stamped and colored each one for this card. I made the 4 windows with a small square die that I carefully positioned and ran through the Sizzix die cutter 4 times. I used Kuretake Zig and Arteza real brush markers to color each of the cards today and blended the colors with a water brush.

Next we have the Angels stamp set, with 3 different angelic little people and some sweet sentiments.

I used Tim Holtz distress inks to create a watercolored background for this little dark haired angel to float on.

Next we have a lovely Hibiscus set. I love all of the Jane’s Doodles floral stamp sets and this one may have just climbed to the top of the favorites list! I stamped on Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock, paintcolored with real brush markers and a water brush and hand cut each of the blooms and leaves to create each arrangement around a die cut window or masked and color blended square.

The last of the image sets is the Bear Hugs set. It’s a set with 3 different bear designs plus a couple of chipmunks and more cute and “punny” sentiments.

Finally, we have what is sure to become one of my most reached for stamp sets ever – the All Occasions sentiments stamp set. It has 20 ways to express what we most often give a card to say! From “happy birthday”, “hello”, and “feel better soon” to “just because”, in a simple but elegant font, it’s a super versatile set. I used two of the sentiments today on the Hibiscus cards.
