Hello friends! It’s blog hop time again with Altenew! Altenew is a company that makes some of the most BEAUtiful dies on the market – just check out that lovely blog hop banner above and you’ll see what I mean! All the paper flowers in that image are floral die cuts from Altenew dies!

The dies I’m showcasing with today’s card are the Watercolor Stripes Cover Die and the stamps and dies from Floral Art.
I die cut the Watercolor Stripes panel from plain white card stock and layered it over a card front of the same white card stock.
I stamped a few of the solid silhouette images from the Floral Art set using the lightest colored inks to begin and then adding more definition and shading with the Artist Markers on top. The inks I used for the leaves were Minty Mint, Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades and the Marker colors were Forest Glades, Evergreen and Ocean Waves. For the flowers I used Arctic, Soft Lilac & Lavender Fields inks and Deep Iris, Midnight Violet, Persian Blue and Sapphire Artist Markers for definition. You can see more of this technique over here.
I used a sentiment from the Floral Garden Stamp set, stamping it onto the background between the stripes and added some flat silver sequins from Honey Bee Stamps to finish.
