Technique Tuesday NSD Card and Giveaway

Hi, hello! Saturday, May 4th is National Scrapbooking Day and Technique Tuesday is ON it, with a blog hop today and an awesome promotion for you guys! In honor of this crafty holiday, Technique Tuesday is giving away free stamp sets and dies with a minimum $30 purchase and YOU get to choose which one! Follow the hop to the end and you’ll be at the Technique Tuesday blog where you can read all the guidelines. This offer lasts till Sunday night, May 5th.

If you’ve arrived here from Allison Arbour’s blog you’re on the right track, but if not, you can start at Nathalie DeSousa’s blog and not miss a thing!

Using a couple of the stamps and dies from the NSD blog hop freebie category, I made this card.

I started by ombre ink blending an A2 sized card panel of Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock, then die cutting with the Heart Strings dies.

I measured and cut two fish-tail tags by hand, from cardstock and vellum, and used a paper-piercing tool to create the dotted line on the cardstock one. Then I stamped a sentiment from the Sassy Family stamp set with Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I used a stitched rectangle frame die to die cut a textured outline for the heart patterned paper and adhered it to a card base. Then I arranged the tags squeegee-like and glued the heart string die cuts over top. Instead of enamel dots, I used the heart punch outs from the heart strings die to complete this card.

Your next stop on the hop is Dana Kirby and you will find the complete blog hop list below. Thank you for stopping and enjoy the rest of the hop!
