Simon Says STAMPtember Printmaking Houses Card

Hey, hi! I’m currently enjoying a little beach vacation but thought I’d pop in to say hello and share this card made with another of the cool and amazing products released this month for Simon’s STAMPtember event, the Printmaking Houses stamp set!

I made a bright and colorful neighborhood of houses to say “thanks for your hospitality” because hopefully soon we’ll be able to enjoy one another’s hospitality again!

I stamped on watercolor cardstock with Versafine Onyx black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I used Mijello Mission Gold paints to paint in each house and roof.

Once the houses were painted and dry, I die cut a rectangle panel with the Die-Namics Pierced Rectangle Die and matted it with a blue solid cardstock die cut with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Cloud die.

I stamped one of the sentiments in the Printmaking Houses stamp set on black cardstock, heat embossed with white embossing powder and trimmed it to a narrow strip with fish-tail ends.
