First up is an extra-special birthday card, appropriate for today’s sneak peek, as this release marks Reverse Confetti’s 8th birthday!! Happy Birthday and Congrats RC, and best wishes for many more years!!

I love sets like the Have Your Cake stamp set with so many options for creating paper confections! I used the filler stamp for the larger layer cake and stamped each with a variety of ink colors, then cut them out by hand so as to stack them more realistically without a white border.

I gave each yummy layer a different decoration, then adhered them together with some tape on the back and popped them up off the card front with some dimensional foam tape.

I temporarily positioned the cake so that I could stamp the cake topper behind the top layer, and added the greeting from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set while I was at it. I stamped and Copic colored the small floral decoration, die cut it with the coordinating die and adhered it to the cake as well. Some rainbow striped patterned paper for a mat and a few coordinating enamel dots are enough to finish this card!

My second card today combines the wonderful Beautiful Balloons stamps and dies with the Celebrate Tag stand-alone dies!

I began by die cutting the balloon shapes from vellum paper and the “celebrate” word from white cardstock. I ink blended the alphabet letters and balloons with the same colors of ink to coordinate.

I stamped and die cut the strings for the balloons and added them to the balloons, then positioned and adhered all the components to be drifting up and away from the “celebrate”.

I added a sentiment from the Hooray stamp set (free with a purchase on the 8th!), stamped on a vellum strip and wrapped around the card panel. I trimmed the card panel to mat with a matching shade of cardstock, and added some enamel dots in matching shades to finish.

That’s it for me today, but there’s still more inspiration to be found on the rest of the hop!
