The card I have to share today is very straightforward, made with a couple of the loveliest products in the September release, the Floral Thanks stamp and dies and the Herringbone Tiles embossing folder.
White on white cards are notoriously tricky to photograph and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to show you just how delicious is the effect of the Herringbone Tiles embossing folder! As good as it looks in the photo, it looks just a little bit crisper and amazing in real life!
The stamped die cut is made with 4 layers of stamps plus the “thanks” word stamps. I was so excited to get stamping and building the design that I didn’t even look at the stamp package insert and I implore you not to make the same mistake! I ended up stamping everything exactly backwards and I just know it would have been easier to just follow the stamping steps as directed!
The ink colors used to stamp the floral arrangement are Misty Morning for the leaves, and Buttercream, Peach Perfect and Rouge for the floral layers. The “thanks” outline image is stamped with Nimbus.
I adhered the stamped die cut portion to the textured embossed background and wrapped them both with some sewing thread that closely matched the word outline color. There are over a dozen secondary phrases to choose from in the Floral Thanks set, to accompany the “thanks” but I left them off in favor of a cleaner, simpler look. Finally, I added some enamel dots from the Warm and Cozy and Green Fields set to complete the card.
