The Greetery Confetti Collection Release

Hey, hi friends! I am excited to finally be able to share with you the fantastic new products being revealed today (Day 1) and released later this week! We’re having a blog hop today and if you’re arriving here from Kelly’s blog then you’re exactly where you should be! (A full blog hop list can be found below.)

The Greetery turned one year old on April 26 (that was a fast year!) and these products were partly designed with that celebration in mind, but Covid-19 had other ideas! No matter. There are always things to be celebrated; birthdays, anniversaries, bridal/baby showers, graduations, etc. This release has you covered for ALL of it.

You’ve already seen the sneaks….but here’s a sample of everything I created that I’ll be sharing with you today and tomorrow.

Today’s projects feature these sets. You can click on over to The Greetery Blog to see the product images and get a better idea of each individual set.

Balloon Bouquet stamps + dies

Birthday Blooms stamps + dies

Big Balloons die

Ticker Tape Background

Twisted Crepe die

Think Happy Stamp + Cut Combo

The first card features the Balloon Bouquet Stamp and Die set, the Ticker Tape background rubber stamp and the Twisted Crepe Die Set. I used the layering stamps in the Balloon Bouquet set to create the delicate bouquet on the Baby Balloon, but the set also includes stamps to create a small floral bouquet (pictured in the bits and pieces scattered around the card). As well, the Die set includes dies to cut three sizes of balloons (I used the two largest), the floral bouquet on the balloon alone, and the string that ties the balloon. The sentiments on this set include Happy Birthday, Celebrate, Congrats and Welcome Baby.

For the other two balloons, I stamped the Ticker Tape background pattern onto some white cardstock, with Altenew Mountain Mist ink, then ink blended the paper with more of the same ink, and die cut the balloon with the middle size of balloon die. The pink vellum balloon is created by ink blending Altenew Cotton Candy ink onto vellum paper and die cutting with the same mid-size die.

Twisted crepe paper swags are such a throwback to my childhood birthday parties so the Twisted Crepe Die Set was super fun to use! It includes three swags PLUS a die that cuts a string of separated shapes so that you can cut darker or lighter pieces and layer them onto the solid swag for a cute and realistic look!

The background cardstock panel is stamped once with the Ticker Tape background red rubber stamp in Mountain Mist ink and a second time, (shifted over and up a little), in Cotton Candy ink. I stamped the greeting in Altenew Ruby Red ink and clear heat embossed it. The card panel is cropped slightly on all four sides and is matted with a coordinating shade of pink cardstock before everything is adhered to a 110lb Neenah Solar White cardstock card base.

Card number two features the Birthday Blooms Stamps and Dies sets. There are simple layered flowers and leaves in this set that can be arranged in a variety of configurations to gracefully surround one of the five BOLD greetings.

As with the card above, I stamped the layers with the same shades of Altenew inks, predominantly using the Red Cosmos color family plus Cotton Candy, and the Sea Shore color family for the leaves. After die cutting them all, I arranged them in a loose half-circle below the stamped and die cut greeting “YOU”. I added the sub-greeting from the same Birthday Bloom stamp set with Versafine Onyx black ink.

I paired the stamped and die cut floral elements with matching patterned papers from my stash, but divided them with a sliver of black cardstock die cut using the straight-across die from the Twisted Crepe Dies set. See how versatile it is?? Just ‘dor’ble!

Finally, we have a card created using the Think Happy Stamp and Die Combo. I’m taking liberties with color lately and I decided that a pink and blue/green rainbow would be so pretty! And that cloud with the flower die cuts?! Those florals would be cute used separately, but I love them colored and still in their die cut openings!

I die cut all the shapes from Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored everything with Copic markers. The pinks range from RV25, RV23 and RV21, and the greens are BG15, BG34 and BG32. Colors that coordinate nicely with the Altenew ink colors mentioned for the first two cards. To create that floral cloud I die cut once from 110lb white cardstock, left the shapes in place while I colored them, then die cut a second cloud from more white cardstock and replaced the colored shaped into the openings of the second cloud. That way I could color the shaped quickly (messily) and not worry about getting ink outside the shape.

To this cute rainbow/cloud combo, I added the Silver Linings die cut cloud from the last release and die cut it to match the pierced rectangle die cut. I stamped the greeting with two of the word stamps included in the set, using Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat set with clear embossing powder. I popped up the rectangle with foam tape onto a matching gingham patterned paper card panel and let the end of the “rainbow” hang off the side to create some visual movement.

That’s it for my cards today, but there is still more to be inspired by on the rest of the blog hop. Your next stop on the hop is Wanda’s blog. Below you will find a complete hop list in case you encounter any broken links along the way. Remember to leave a comment on each of the stops for a chance to have your name/comment drawn to win one of TWO $50 gift cards for the Day 1 blog hop. Winners will be announced Friday morning when the release goes live.
