A little bit about this stamp set.

“This is our first-ever stamp set in our largest stamp size category. We hope it inspires you to create projects that are bigger, bolder, and drop-dead gorgeous!

The set features two beautiful layering flowers illustrated in a loosely painted style, plus a collection of leaves. The matching flowers and leaves from the Majestic Bloom 3D Embossing Folder perfectly coordinate in size and will allow you to take your gorgeous flower to the next level by giving it extra dimension!

This is a 8″ x 11″ clear stamp set containing 41 stamps made in the USA from high-quality photopolymer.”

The sheer size and versatility of this stamp set is what I love best! With several outline shapes to choose from, as well as solid fill shapes and the layer stamps that Altenew does so well, the options for ways to use this set are endless. For my card I combined a few different styles.

I started by stamping one of the flowers with the outline stamp, in black ink, once on the card panel and a second time on some masking paper. Then I filled the flower on the card panel with the three layer stamps. I used the Northern Shore ink set to stamp the flower, and the Green Fields lightest colors for the flower center and some of the leaves.

Then I covered the flower with the paper mask and added leaves. I used the outline stamps and mixed them with the filler stamps, overlapping and combining more of the palest ink colors in the Northern Shore and Green Fields sets to create a transparent and layered look.

I used two of the sentiment stamps in the set to stamp the greeting, with black ink to balance the black ink used for the flower. Then I added some subtly striped patterned paper at the top and bottom and a couple of narrow strips of solid cardstock to finish it off.
