The Greetery Fresh Picked Lemons and Streamers Card

Hi, hello! I have a project that I’m sharing on The Greetery blog today and wanted to share it here with you all as well! And I suppose with a website called The Velvet Lemon, it should come as no surprise that I love anything lemon!!

I combined 6 different stamp and die sets to make this card! I love doing that! It just feels like I’m getting so much more from each individual set than is apparent on the surface.

I started by stamping the lemons from the Lemon Blossom stamp set. I used the Pocketful of Sunshine ink family from Altenew for the lemons and the Tropical Forest green inks for the leaves. Then I stamped a small floral image from the Balloon Bouquet stamp set using the blue inks in the Lapis Lazuli family and the greens in the Green Fields color set. I die cut each stamped image and also cut the citrus slice in half to look like wedges.

Then I die cut a couple of lemon yellow streamers using the Twisted Crepe die set and colored the shadowed side of the twists with a yellow marker. I found a delightful floral printed patterned paper in my stash (Doodlebug Design Floral/Graph paper pad) and using the Cozy Cup Coaster set, die cut a fabric placemat that hangs off the edge of the table.

For the background panel, I stamped the Windowpane Plaid background stamp onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and trimmed it just smaller than an A2 sized card. I chose a greeting from the Just Mason Around stamp set and stamped it very close to the floral bouquet to “anchor” it on the card rather than let it float aimlessly elsewhere. I assembled the components into a pleasing vignette and adhered everything to a folded white notecard. I love exploring the variety of possibilities there are when you combine this many different stamp and die sets!

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
