The Pine Tree stamp and die combo includes the tree image, 5 different sentiment stamps and assorted small snowflakes which I didn’t use on today’s card. Besides the tree and snowflake dies, the die set includes word dies that spell out Warm Wishes.
To begin, I stamped the tree image onto Neenah Solar White cardstock with Stampin’ Up Shaded Spruce ink, then die cut the image plus 3 more layers to stack and adhere together.
To emphasize the fluffy snow on the branches, I squeezed some White semi-gloss acrylic paint onto the snow fluffs, and sprinkled on some clear glitter and a little german glass glitter, then let it dry.
Then I used the same ink and stamped the tree image three times on an A2 card panel using the 2nd and 3rd generation stamping technique where you stamp the image first onto scrap paper, then onto the card panel and again a 3rd time without re-inking between stamping.
I combined 3 of the sentiment stamps from the set to create the greeting, stamped with Versamark ink and heat set with Platinum embossing powder. I stamped a diagonal striped stamp and heat set with the same Platinum embossing powder, cut a narrow strip and adhered it to the card front peeking out along the left hand side. A few HoneyBee Bokeh Lights Confetti Mix sequins add some “snowflake” sparkle and complete the card.
