Some of the new products have a distinct Valentine’s vibe, such as the So Much Love stamp set – a collection of versatile and useful sentiments – and one that I used for this card.

I also used the Geometric Lattice embossing folder to emboss the top 2/3rds of a slimline card panel, stamping the sentiment on the (flat, smooth) bottom 1/3. I used Platinum embossing powder for the sentiment.

For the lovely butterflies, I used the Etched Butterfly die set to cut from watercolor paper, “painting” them with the ink smooshing technique where you smear 2-3 water-reactive inks onto a smooth surface, spritz water onto the ink and lay the die cuts face down onto the wet paint, then letting dry and splattering with darker ink. I added the same colors of paint splatter to the embossed/stamped card panel and adhered the butterflies with foam tape behind to give them some extra extra. I wrapped some gold metallic thread around the card panel before adhering everything to the card base.

There’s a ton of beguiling new products in this release which you can check out here! Thanks so much for stopping by and if you are interested in any of the products I’ve used you’ll find them linked below for your shopping convenience. Have a wonderful day!
