The cards I’m sharing today are made with the Candy Canes stencil set, and Glimmer Glitz Gel, both part of the Handmade Holiday’s Release. I also used the XL Christmas Greetings from last month’s Peace On Earth release.
I started by covering a slimline card panel of Neenah Solar White cardstock with each of the Candy Canes stencils, and the Red Glimmer Glitz Gel. I love how quickly this gel dries, making it easy to move on to the next step of making the card.
I stamped two of the sentiments in the XL Christmas Greetings stamp set, with Versamark ink onto green and red cardstock, then heat set with white embossing powder. I die cut the Happy Holidays with a stitched rectangle die and popped it up with some dimensional foam tape.
I love the clean graphic style of the cards and didn’t want to cover too much of them, so I stamped a couple of the outline images in the Holiday Sprigs stamp set from the Peace On Earth release. I colored them with Copic markers and die cut with the coordinating dies. I used some red enamel dots to simulate holly berries.
