For my first card, I combined the Golden Days Hot Foil Plate and the Golden Days layered Stencils from the new release with a die from the Nesting Labels and the Fancy For You dies.
I began by hot foiling the flower outline onto white cardstock, then used the stencils to add color, with Strawberry, Blush and Peach Parfait Crisp Dye inks.
Then I die cut 4 layers of white cardstock and 1 layer of Rose Gold foil paper with the Fancy For You die, stacking 2 cardstock layers to the rose gold layer, and sandwiching the vellum nested label die cut between that and the next 2 Fancy For You die cuts. This technique helps the vellum present more opaquely against the background. Some matching enamel dots complete the card and I think you have a card that has big impact for minimal effort!
For my second card, I did some more layering, this time with the Golden Days Hot Foil Plate on a white cardstock panel with Spellbinders Pewter foil.
Then I stamped the outline with the Golden Days Stamp Set and added color with the layering stamps in the set. This time I used Blueberry, Iceberg, Eastern Sky, Morning Frost, Evening Gray and Moon Rock Crisp Dye inks.
I die cut the stamped images and layered them in the bottom corner, popping them up with dimensional foam tape. I used the Sentiment Strips III stamp set to make the Happy Birthday greeting and finished the card with some coordinating enamel dots.
