Hey, hi! I’m dropping in to share the cards that I have up on the Altenew blog today, showcasing the Altenew Delicate Clusters stamp and die sets. I used them in a few different ways and wanted to share them here as well!
I made a pair of “geranium” color schemed cards. (I know geraniums come in lots of other colors, but these are the colors we plant in our back yard planter pots every year so they’re kind of ubiquitous in my mind.)
I combined the beautifully layered set of flower stems with the bowl vase from Versatile Vases stamp set and a sentiment from the Delicate Clusters stamp set.
Then I made a card with a background strip made of smaller strips of ink blended card stock.
For this card I used a sentiment stamp from the Winter Cardinal stamp set.
Next up, I created a couple of cards in coordinating blue tones.
One card, where I masked the flower stems and stamped the two blooms several times to create a floral spray, then die cut the “hugs” word and popped up the card panel against the navy card front below.
And a second card, where the stamped single floral stem with a sentiment from the Thoughts and Reminders stamp set becomes a bookmark when you un-adhere it from the card front. (Another word that should exist.)
If you’re interested, I have way more photos and instructions on the Altenew blog that you can access by clicking this link.
I’m so glad you stopped by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!
