Altenew Rose Blossom Card

Hi, hello! I’m back today with a pretty card to share, made with a stamp set designed by Altenew exclusively for Scrapbook.com. The Rose Blossom stamp set is the type of stamp set Altenew does the best of all the companies in the industry – namely layering stamps.

Rose Blossom includes one large bloom, a smaller flower with leaves, two additional leaves, and a vine outline, all with 2-3 layered images (excepting the vine image) plus an outline. The outline images make the stamp set so verstatile – you can either color them by using the layered images and inks, or alternately, use markers, pencils or paint.

To create my card, I stamped a bloom onto masking paper and cut it out so that I could design a “bouquet” of two blooms with the leaves and vines tucked in behind. I used the Tea Party ink set, with Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss and Heart Beat inks for the blooms and the Greenfields Ink set with Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades and Evergreen for the leaves. I stamped the vines with Gray Denim ink from the Gentleman’s Gray ink set.

I stamped the sentiment from the Rose Blossom stamp set onto vellum paper with clear embossing ink and heat set with black embossing powder. Then, a few random puffy dots to finish the card.

This stamp set is only available at Scrapbook.com for the next 6 months, (AND IS CURRENTLY ON SALE FOR $19.99, down from $24) after which time it will also be available in the Altenew online store and elsewhere.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
