Hi there, welcome back for another Altenew blog hop, this time showcasing the June Paint-A-Flower: Daffodil stamp set! You should be arriving here from the start of the hop at the Altenew Card Blog.

The Paint A Flower stamp set this month has two sweet designs that, as always, are perfect for coloring in with your favorite coloring/painting medium or using as an outline design.

I made a project with each of the images, and colored one in the most common Daffodil color scheme and the other in the rarer pink colors.

Both of my designs are stamped with Obsidian Black ink onto watercolor paper and painted with the Altenew Artist watercolor 36 pan paint palette. For the bookmark/gift tag I painted the design, including the background, then die cut it using the Rounded Rectangles Die set.

I stamped a sentiment from the Fancy Greetings stamp set and punched a hole at the top before adding Silhouette-cut reinforcements and a jute string tie.

For the card, I stamped and painted the yellow daffodils, speckled the background with leftover paint and set it aside to fully dry. Then I used the Nesting Frames Dies to die cut an opening in the front of a patterned paper card panel.

I stamped a greeting from the PAF Daffodil stamp set with Obsidian Black ink on the front of the patterned paper panel, then covered the back with a sheet of fun foam with the center Nesting Frame die cut opening cut from it.

I positioned the painted Daffodils in the opening of the frame and adhered both to the front of a folded card base. Atypically, I decided to leave it at that with no further embellishment. I know! Touch my forehead, am I feeling well??
