Hello, hey! We’re up to Day 14 of #thedailymarker30day coloring challenge with Kathy Racoosin and I have a couple more Greeting Farm cards to share using the Beach Bums stamp set!
These were a fun couple of scenes to create as I have a particularly affinity to sun bathing and floating on the ocean waves!
I stamped the images onto masking paper and used them to create this little dude with his too cool for school Sunnies and almost-a-rainbow floatie, stamping onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and coloring with Copic markers.
I used a stitched rectangle die to die cut the card panel, then drew the background lines free hand and colored the waves with all different colors of ocean water. I hand cut the little guy just outside the stamped lines, and ran a black marker along the edges so no white paper showed and adhered him to the ocean waves card panel. I also ran a piece of cardstock through a woodgrain embossing folder because I thought it looked a little like water too. A few clear raindrop embellishments complete this card.
This sunny Sue card was mostly created the same way as the one above, with masking, stamping on Neenah cardstock and coloring with Copics.
This time I die cut the stitched rectangle shape from the stamped and colored cardstock, and I added the sandy background with a variety of sand colored Copic markers. I cut a patterned paper block for the sentiment with a wonky angle for interest, and stamped the sentiment from the Beach Bums stamp set using Altenew Obsidian Pigment ink.
I added a variety of shades and shapes of enamel dots to complete this card. I love stamp sets like these where you can build any sort of image your brain can come up with! The possibilities for this set feel limitless!
Thanks for stopping by today and thank you to The Greeting Farm for some cool products to play with! Have a wonderful day!
