Spellbinders Stamp of the Month Club – March 2020

Hi, hello! I’m excited to be back today with a card that I made using the Spellbinders Stamp of the Month set for March. Did you know that Spellbinders does monthly kit clubs? There are several and I’ve just started receiving the Stamp of the Month kit along with the Die of the Month kit that I’ve been getting for awhile now, and the very first one is already knocking my socks off!

A stamp set that is entirely made up of a variety of well said sentiments in cool and modern fonts like these is never going to be a bad thing! In this set you get sentiments to cover Sorry, Thanks, Miss You, Hello, Love and Birthday occasions.

I chose a variety of the individual sentiments and stacked them up in groups to express “hey hello, you’ve been on my mind, I totally miss seeing you and I love your face!” I bet you have a few people you’d love to say that to as well!

Because the whole card is about the sentiment, I wanted to keep it pretty clean and simple, so I stamped onto watercolor paper with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder, then painted each line a fun, bright color.

I chose colors that are in the rainbow, although they’re not in rainbow order. I used Altenew paints and painted over each line and let the embossing resist the paint to show through. Before I finished, I used a few of the paint colors to splatter onto the card panel. I trimmed 1/8″ off each side of the A2 sized watercolor paper and matted the panel with some great rainbow patterned paper from Sunny Studio Stamps.

That’s it, that’s all! Thanks for stopping by today and don’t forget to check out the abundance of kit club options Spellbinders has available! And have a great weekend!
