Spellbinders Sparkling Christmas Dies Collection

Hi, hello! I’m back with another Spellbinders card! Two in one day! This one is showcasing a couple of die sets in the Sparkling Christmas Collection just released!

I combined two different die sets for my card – using the Radiant Snowflake die along with the Christmas Mix and Match Sentiments Die set.

I began by die cutting the Radiant Snowflake once from some silver glitter cardstock, and again from the center of a Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock panel. I die cut the word “winter” from the silver glitter cardstock as well. I could have die cut “wishes” as well, to create a “winter wishes” sentiment, but I like a mis-matched sentiment on my cards, so I switched it up and printed the word “greetings” with my printer. Some of the other greetings in the Christmas Mix and Match set include Holiday Greetings, Merry Christmas, Winter Wishes and Joyous, all in the same beautiful font as you see here.

I adhered an A2 sized card panel of aqua blue textured cardstock to a folded card base, then trimmed 1/8th” on all sides and popped up the white card front with foam tape and adhered it overtop of the colored cardstock. I used the white cardstock snowflake die cut to support the part of the glitter snowflake that overlaps the opening in front by cutting it in thirds and stacking it behind that portion of the glitter snowflake. Then I glued the snowflake in place, along with the die cut glitter “winter” and added a matching enamel dot to the center of the snowflake.

This is a quick card that can be easily duplicated for bulk holiday card assembly! You can check out the rest of the products in this release here. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of your day!
