Simon Says Stamp Sunny Days Ahead Card

Hi, hello! I have one more card to share for the Simon Says Stamp Make Magic release, using the Sunny Days Ahead die!

It’s really a quick and simple card design made that way because of two amazingly designed products! The Sunny Days Ahead die, which is part of the Make Magic Simon exclusive release and the patterned paper – from a JJ Bolton paper pad from Waffle Flower.

I started by cutting the patterned paper card panel to fit an A2 sized card and positioning the Sunny Days die (which, if I had to guess, must surely be a Kristina Werner handwritten die) onto the card front and die cutting once from the card panel and again from a piece of matching pink fun foam!

I was careful to keep all the tiny pieces – the insides of the S and D and A letters, for example – in order to adhere them onto the background once the layered card panel/fun foam die cut were stacked and glued into their spot on the card front.

Once I had glued down the stacked sentiment, inserted and glued down the negative bits, inside and around the sentiment, all that was left for me to do was add some matching sequins to the rainbow paper to complete the card! Between the rainbow paper and the fun, handwritten die, this is a card design that pretty much makes itself, and I like when that happens every now and then!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
