Hey, hello! I have another Pinkfresh Studio project to share with you! I tell you, I got a little carried away with all the gorgeous products in the May release and once started, I had a hard time getting stopped!

I had fun with this Blooming Bouquet stamp for the release blog hop, and I have one more card to show you with that image. I stamped the bouquet on watercolor paper, with Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Instead of worrying overly about painting the leaves green and the flowers flower colors, I tried a rainbow color scheme going from red/orange/yellow at the top to green/blue at the bottom, then splattered paint splats with the same colors. I didn’t worry about staying inside the lines because I love that messy, painterly look.

I stamped a sentiment from the same Blooming Bouquet stamp set, onto black cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The paints I used are a mix of Daniel Smith, Winsor & Newton and Prima, and the enamel dots are from Doodlebug Designs.
I trimmed the watercolor panel on each side but left it 5.5″ tall. I machine stitched the sides and layered it over top a panel of LawnFawn plaid patterned paper then layered the sentiment strip fully across the front of the card. Pretty simple, easy and beautiful when you start with a stamped image as lovely as this one!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!
