Hello again! I have a card up on the Jane’s Doodles blog today that I wanted to share here as well. I needed a baby card recently and this set from Jane’s Doodle’s called Special Delivery is one of my very favorites!
Before I continue I want to mention that the Jane’s Doodles shop is going on vacation next week and the shop will be closed, so to make up for that there is a fantastic 40% sale on right now on any/all stamp sets! Go crazy!! How often do you see sales like that??
I started by stamping three of the images from the stamp set onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock with Versafine Onyx black ink, then colored them with Arteza brush pens and Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and blended the color with a water brush.
I fussy cut each of the images, (always a fun activity for me) and set them aside. I die cut a Paper Smooches label from Coredination’s grey polka dot paper to use as a mat and coordinated it with some grey plaid paper for the card front.
As well, I die cut the word “hello” 3 times from matching grey cardstock (found in my stash), and adhered them in a stack. I stamped the “sweet baby” from the Special Delivery stamp set with Versafine black ink and adhered the die cut stack above that.
I arranged the hand cut images on the grey label die cut and adhered everything to a card base. Very simple, quick and sweet. Just how I like my cards!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day and don’t forget to check out Jane’s 40% sale running only a couple of more days!
