Hi friends! I’m up on the Jane’s Doodle’s blog today with a couple of fun cards that use a triple window die. I’ve only had this particular die in my stash now for a few years so it occurred to me that I could use it now.
The first card is a “missing you” card. I just love the outdoor/camping motifs, and the sentiment resonates with me every summer when a few of us are together at the lake, but know the good times would be that much better if the ones who aren’t together with us were there too. The “wish you were here” sentiment is from the All Occasions stamp set and all of the coloring is done with Arteza Real Brush pens.
The fire image is a single stamp, but the trees are two separate images, masked and stamped to create a “forest” and the moon and stars are individual images as well. The fire and trees are from the Outdoors stamp set and the moon and stars are from the Happy Camper stamp set.
For the second card, I used the Simon Says Stamp triple window die horizontally and filled the windows with critters from the Outdoors stamp set. As I did for the card above, I stamped on Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock and colored with Arteza Real Brush pens and a water brush to blend color. I fussy cut the animals and popped them up with foam adhesive, as I did the die cut window frame panels. The sentiment for this card is also from the Outdoors stamp set, and is stamped on a kraft tag. The woodgrain paper is from the Carta Bella “Welcome Home” 6’x6″ paper pad.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you found something here to inspire you today! Have a wonderful day!
