Hi there! I’m back today with a card that I’m sharing on the Jane’s Doodles blog today. I used all the cups in the Coffee Time stamp set and stacked them up using masking paper.
I had to go through a couple of iterations of this design before I finally got the hang of it. I don’t have the engineering brain that makes it obvious what parts of the stamp to ink and what parts to cover up. But some experimenting on scrap paper helps to figure it out. I like that each of the cup/mug images is plain and you can change them up to suit your mood. I added stripes, hearts and polka dots. It was also fun to pull out the Copics again and color. I’m making up for some lost time for the last few months!
Once the image was all colored, I hand cut the design and added foam tape to the back to pop it up over the typewriter written sentiment and the die cut vellum circle. And as always, a few coordinating enamel dots to finish it off.
