Hi, hello! I’m back today to show you some projects that I’m sharing on the Altenew Card Blog today, using a beautiful background stamp set called Delicate Flower Bed, from the Altenew April release. I love a good background stamp set but few are quite as versatile as this one!
I used this stamp set in 4 different ways, and you can check out the Altenew blog for all the details, instructions and product links.
The first card is stamped, white heat embossed and ink blended on the background, with a white heat embossed sentiment and a couple of fussy cut flower sprigs for embellishment.
The second card combines two background stamp sets, Dainty Swiss Dots and the Delicate Flower Bed, but this time the flowers are stamped, colored with Altenew Artist Markers and fussy cut (yes, I’m crazy, and I like it that way) before arranging in a wreath shape.
Card #3 is stamped with a mask to block off the bottom portion of the card and create the illusion of a cascade of colored flowers. The sentiment is a combination of stamped words, and letters die cut from an ombre colored piece of cardstock. Check out more photos and details here.
The last card is stamped on watercolor paper with embossing ink and gold heat embossed, then painted with a watercolor brush marker in grey. (I’m really in love with this gold/grey color combo! It’s unexpected but so pretty!) I die cut the leafy branches from black cardstock and gold heat embossed cardstock.
This is not the end of the ideas I have for this stamp set, but we need to save something for another day, right? Please be sure to click the links for more photos and details and thanks for stopping by today!
