If you’re thinking, wait, what? Didn’t I just see these cards? You’re right, you did! I shared them on the Altenew Card Blog at the beginning of this hop, but I wanted to share them here as well, just in case someone missed the hop order.
I used the Cozy Winter Vibes stamp set to create this card and the next one. The stamp set has three large images that can be coordinated on a larger format card or individually as stand alone images.
On this card I stamped with Obsidian Pigment ink, let it dry for a minute, then colored the images with Altenew watercolor paints. I added splatters with black paint and white gouache paint, some wonky pen outlines with the Altenew Fine Liner Pen set and a few clear sparkling sequins to finish the card. The sentiment is one included in the Cozy Winter Vibes stamp set.
I used one of the same images again on one of the papers in the Gel Printing Soft Washes paper pad, stamping with Permanent Black Crisp Dye ink and leaving it uncolored against the Northern Lights-esque sky backdrop. I stamped another of the sentiments in the Cozy Winter Vibes stamp set, then added some white cardstock die cut snowflakes from the Layered Snowflake Dies set.
For my last card, I chose another of the gorgeous patterned papers from the Soft Washes paper pad (it would take me a long time and a lot of paper and paint to get results I love as much as this one!). I didn’t want to cover any more of the color than was absolutely necessary, so I stamped with a large floral outline stamp – from the Simply Spring stamp set – and left it uncolored.
I die cut the large “you” die cut from the Bold You Die set, then stamped it with the coordinating “you” from the Bold You stamp set using Obsidian Pigment ink and heat setting with clear embossing powder. I added the scripty sentiment below stamping directly onto the patterned paper with Permanent black ink. A few complimentary colored enamel dots complete this card!
