You are likely arriving here from Linda Parker’s blog, but if not, you can click back to the start of the hop at the Altenew Card Blog and that way you won’t miss a thing!

Although the two cards look quite different from one another, the supplies and techniques are similar.
Let’s take a look!
For my first card, I stamped the design onto watercolor paper with embossing ink and heat set with silver embossing powder. I used both the Watercolor 36 Pan set and the Watercolor 24 Pan set to paint the flowers and leaves with a random palette of colors, pulling color over the lines without care.
I combined two of the sentiment stamps to create the greeting on a strip of gray cardstock and trimmed it with a fishtail. Then I finished the card with some splatters and gemstones.
For the second card, I realigned the stamp to a different position on an A2 card base and stamped with black ink and heat set with clear embossing powder. This time I used the Altenew Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan set to paint the arrangement, using the most subtle shades in the set.
Once the paint and splatter was dry, I hand cut the bottom portion of the design and popped it up with Instant Dimension foam tape.
I combined another two of the sentiments included in the Camellia Waterhouse stamp set to create the greeting on the gray cardstock that I chose to mat the stamped design with. Once again, some coordinating gem stones complete the card.
