Hi again! Today is a double blog post day and I’m back with another card to share! I’m up on the Jane’s Doodles blog today, showcasing a number of Jane’s Doodle’s stamp sets.
I combined several “wild” animals from various stamp sets, and stamped them with Versafine black ink onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock, then colored in the images and background using Arteza Real Brush markers and a water brush.
On the card panel, I stamped the octopus, fish and shark from the Oh Ship! stamp set, the moose from the Outdoors stamp set, the bear and chipmunks from the Bear Hugs stamp set, the crocodile, toucan and snake from the Smile stamp set, and the little birds from the Stinks stamp set.
I also used the Neat & Tangled Journaling Alpha dies called Nice and Neat to create the “wild” part of the title, as well as a computer generated “about you” sentiment. After I had finished all the coloring I added some black paint splatters.
This isn’t my typical style of card, but I love it when I see other artists stamp and color an entire card panel, and I want to do more of it! And I know a sweet little 2 year old boy who would love this card! Thank you for stopping by again, and enjoy the rest of your day!
