I love all the different paper crafting techniques and products, but sometimes its just nice to get back to the very basics of stamping and card making, and that’s what these cards are for me.
This is such a beautiful stamp image, (with a lovely assortment of sentiments that are included in the set) and it stands alone as a card element, needing no coloring or painting and very little embellishment. I limited it to some wrapped twine and a few enamel dots and I just love the contrast of elaborate and elegant simplicity. It might be a basic technique for card making but with this stamp there’s nothing basic looking about the finished project.
