Hello, hi! I’m back again with another set of Christmas Tags for Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags, this time with The Greetery team! I posted some other tags back on Day 7 and if you’ve been following along you’ve seen some beautiful inspiration each day for all your tag making needs!
I started off with this set of three blue and white themed tags, and stayed true to my love of multi-layered tags.
This tag is cut using the Speed Tagging Dies. I also die cut the same shape from a piece of masking paper, cut out the oval center by following the dotted lines, then used that to mask the center of this tag so I could stencil the Square Dance stencil design around the oval. The layered pine stamp is from the Winter Sketches stamp set and the greeting on the bottom tag is from the Sentiment Suite Christmas stamp set.
This time I masked the outside of the dotted oval tag center and stenciled snowflakes onto both the top and bottom tags using the Frosty Flakes Stencil. I also stamped the little tree in the Christmas Eve Stamp Set. The sentiment on this tag comes from the With Love at Christmas stamp set.
And again, I stenciled with the Square Dance stencil for the bottom tag, and die cut the dotted oval center tag from matching blue cardstock. In addition, I stamped the layering stamps from Budding Beauties Winter stamp set, then die cut it with the coordinating die. The sentiment from the With Love at Christmas stamp set is stamped with Versamark ink and heat set with silver embossing powder.
All three of these tags are tied up with some white seam binding ribbon and a coordinating piece of silver or blue and white thread.
On a roll and not content to leave it at that….I made a couple more tags.
I used the various shapes in the Speed Tagging Dies set to make my tags again, and tied up three layers for these tags.
I stamped the layers for the Christmas arrangement from the With Love at Christmas stamp set again, and combined one word each from two different greetings in the Sentiment Suite Christmas stamp set. I included a vellum paper tag layer between the stamped top tag and the bottom wood grain tag.
More Christmas florals from the With Love at Christmas, this time with more intense inks. I matched up some yellow gingham paper, die cut it from the Speed Tagging dies as well, and stamped a sentiment also from the With Love at Christmas set.
