Magenta Stencils and Stamps Card

Hello, hi! I’m a guest today on the Magenta Style blog and this is the card I made and am sharing over there. I used a few different stamps, a stencil and a variety of products to create it.

To begin, I smeared Peeled Paint and Evergreen Bough ink onto my craft mat and mixed them with some light modeling paste. Then I carefully wiped the paste over the Magenta Large Foliage stencil, first with one color and then with the 2nd color, allowing them to blend. I used the “beautiful day” sentiment stamp from Magenta and stamped with Versafine black ink.

I stamped the foliage image onto Bristol smooth card stock and colored it with Arteza real brush markers, then stamped just the blooms from the Bloom and Flourish stamp set onto watercolor paper and painted them with Ranger Distress Inks; Festive Berries, Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold and Spiced Marmalade. Once they were all dry I fussy cut them with small fine tipped scissors – an enjoyable, therapeutic activity for me!

Finally, I arranged all the cut pieces over top the dried paste and adhered them with both Tombow liquid glue and some glue dots. For good measure. A few clear hole-less sequins complete the card.

Thank you for stopping by today and like the card sentiment expresses, have a beautiful day!
