Hi there! I’m continuing to catch up with projects and posts, so today I have a couple of cards made with the June Technique Tuesday Fresh Cut Studio dies called Build-A-House. I combined the die cuts from this set with sentiments from the June Memory Keepers stamps, called In This Together.
For the first card I die cut all the shapes included in the set, from 110lb cardstock and chose the elements (door, windows) I liked best and colored them all with Copic markers.
I adhered the colored pieces together to create the house, then added it to an old background die cut in my stash, and glued everything to a card panel of coordinating gingham patterned paper.
The “staying at home” sentiment is from the In This Together stamp set – a great collection for documenting these unprecedented (in our lives) times, or for making cards to encourage and support our friends and loved ones adjusting to the restrictions 2020 has imposed!
My second card uses three of the house die cuts with three die cut hearts – also from this set. I colored the houses and hearts with Copic markers once more, and adhered them to some blue plaid patterned paper in my stash.
I added two sentiments from the In This Together stamp set to suggest solidarity with our house-bound neighbors and friends.
Some coordinating enamel dots and a narrow strip of pink patterned paper complete this card.
Be sure to check out the Technique Tuesday Club subscription page to see the variety of monthly sets you can subscribe to and be guaranteed some great new products in your mailbox each month at a lower price than individually purchased sets.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!
