Hi, hello! It’s been 6 months since my last beach vacation and it’s also 6 months until my next beach vacation! If I’m lucky. So I’m feeling a little homesick for the sand, surf and sky and I decided to use a couple of the water/fishy stamp sets that Stampendous sent me awhile back, and make up a couple of cards! And since we’re into another Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge, I thought I’d color them with Arteza Real Brush Markers and a water brush.

The first card I’m sharing today is made using the Porpoise Fun stamp set. I stamped onto watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx black ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I colored the design using all the lovely blues and blue/greens of the Arteza markers set.

After the pigment had dried I colored again over the water with sparkly Wink of Stella pen for some extra shimmer. I die cut the colored image with a stitched oval die and popped it up with some fun foam.

I used one of the sentiments from the Porpoise Fun stamp set, stamping onto a strip of white cardstock that I trimmed and adhered to the bottom of the card. I used some paper from a Doodlebug Swiss Dot Rainbow paper pad and coordinated it with a cardstock card base.

My second card is made with the Turtle Fun stamp set and is also stamped on watercolor paper with Versafine Ink and clear heat embossing.

Once again, I colored with Arteza Real Brush markers and a paint brush, using an artsy style that paints up very quickly. This time I die cut the stamped and colored panel with a round stitched die and adhered it to a card panel of Neenah Desert Storm card stock embossed with a stitched woodgrain die. (To me it looked like the ripples on water, so I went with it!)

I stamped a sentiment from the Turtle Fun stamp set with Versafine ink on watercolor paper and gave it a twin fish-tail banner below, of black cardstock.
Both cards got a few clear drop embellishments to feel complete!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
