Today’s cards feature the Xylo Phone stamp set. There is a coordinating die set which I didn’t have, but sharp fussy scissors did the job.
Both cards are stamped with Copic friendly ink – Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink, on Neenah Solar White card stock and colored with Copic markers. (Colors listed below).
I made a mask with the mallet stamp to create a pair of mallets and added them to the xylophone die cut. I used one of the sentiments in the stamp set and stamped Versafine Onyx black ink and heat set with clear embossing powder. Finally I added some musical notes in coordinating shades of ink, and a strip of rainbow striped patterned paper along the left hand side.
For the second card, I once again stamped on Neenah cardstock and colored with Copic markers before fussy cutting the images. For the back ground I used the Magic Stars die to cut a stencil from cardstock, which I used to ink blend some yellow stars onto a card panel, and follow up with more ink blending with the same color to fill in a colored spot behind the Xylo “Phone”.
I stamped another of the fun and punny sentiments in the stamp set, trimmed the edges smaller than A2 and matted with blue cardstock, then added some rainbow hued enamel dots.
